To the south of the Ergün River, part of the Sino-Russian border, lives those Evenki people.

Originally from Siberia, their forefathers came to that part of Inner Mongolia in 1918.


Early May on the grassland, the weather is still chilling. Drinking up cups and cups of milk tea offered by my Evenki host, I simply inhale this environment and take the shots. No time for reflection and composition. I am simply here. Now.
